After spending more than two full days on trains from Lonavala to Dehra Dun in India I have now arrived at the YWAM base in Dehra Dun. It was incredible to be able to travel through the Western parts of India on the train by myself. So many landscapes, His beautiful creation. So many people, different faces, different backgrounds and different stories.
I got to make new friends and share my life with some of them. One of them was a girl from a Tibetan family that moved to India when the Chinese occupied Tibet from 1951 onward. We spent a lot of time talking about God and she told me how she had studied Buddhism and her desire is to know God in her life. Just before both of us went separate ways we got to pray together, a moment that she called ‘very touching.’
